Under the Oak Tree

I painted this piece for my lovely patron Melanie of her favorite characters in the style of Gustav Klimt! His is a style so far outside my area of expertise that I spent the vast majority of the process feeling lost, staring wall-eyed at the canvas thinking "wait wut?!" I had so much fun though, and was introduced to as sweet and heartfelt a tale as that of this couple <3
